Food Myths
I don't expect you to believe all of this cause I can understand it may be a hard sell. Just remember we've been brainwashed by our governments and large bodies of science and nutrition for the sake of their economy. If you have an issue with any of these claims just do a search on google for what I'm about to tell you and decide for yourself.
Whole Grains/Wheat are Good For You
You see it on commercials all the time. Whole wheat grains should be part of every meal. You'll lose weight, better bowels, lower cholesterol and a bunch of other stuff. Of course it will improve your health but only if you've been eating refined grains your whole life but if not then it won't do crap and it will just make you gain weight and crap out your health. Humans cannot digest grains properly especially when they're not processed and cooked. No mammals naturally eat grains. They're for birds and rodents. Livestock like cows and pigs are fed grains for fattening purposes. There's a good population really allergic to grains so I can't see how it's possible to part of our natural diet.
Too Many Eggs Will Kill You
No it won't. That myth has pretty much been killed off by mainstream science. There wasn't even any science to this myth to begin with. The theory was since eggs contain high cholesterol then it will give humans high cholesterol. The truth is dietary cholesterol does not increase bodily cholesterol.
Saturated Fats are the Highest Evil
For decades saturated fats were believed to be the main reason for heart disease and obesity that was killing millions all over the world every year. We are now starting to see that it was all bullshirt and there was never really any good science to it. This myth was created by American researcher Ancel Keys and you can google this for the whole story. If it's such bullshirt why hasn't it been made publicly known? After 30 decades of our governments and nutrition experts promoting low fat diets for good health, they're are not going to just say, "we f'd up and we've been killing you slowly all these years." The real enemy has always been excess sugar, carbohydrates and processed foods of any kind.
Food Pyramid
Automatically when you think of a guideline to healthy eating you think of the Food Pyramid cause it's endorsed by our government and our government would never knowingly mislead us (sacrasm). The truth is it's very much based on politics and economics. Doesn't it sound weird that it advises us to eat as many servings of grain products as it does fruits and vegetables? The grain industry is huge in developed countries and in the world we live in people who are not so wealthy cannot afford to cut grains out of their diet without dying financially or dying altogether.
Milk Does the Body Good
Have you ever noticed how there are so many commercials pushing milk and none for fruits and vegetables. It's because we needed to be brainwashed that milk does the body good. Think of it this way, how on god's green earth would a human naturally get under a cow and suck it's nipple for milk and get away without a hoof in the gonads. No mammal drinks milk after infancy especially the kind that we drink which is all pumped with hormones. It's hard to believe milk is not good for you cause it's all we've heard. How else can you explain why so many people are lactose intolerant. Instead of telling people to stop drinking milk they tell them to pop a pill so they can drink milk. Kids, just say no to drugs unless if you can't drink milk without getting diarrhea.
